Sky Terrace @ Hudson Hotel

New York never dissapoints. We were there two nights before leaving with the Norwegian Breakaway and half a day before flying back and we enjoyed every second in this vibrant city. We stayd in hip hotel The Hudson. Small rooms but you have all you need in it and the sky terraces are just the place to relax and enjoy the view. And it is ideally located near Columbus Circle, near 9th Avenue with its many restaurants and bars and overall a perfect location to start exploring. The best thing was that my friend Sean came to see us. She drove all the way from Philadelphia, that’s how amazing she is.

Other things we loved…uhm so many…strolling through the Meat Packing District, having dinner at The Standart, walking the High Line, trying sunglasses in the Warby Parker store, visiting my favorite yoga store Lululemon,  American breakfast near our hotel in Route 66 Café, lunch in Le Pain Quotidien (what a threat to have lunch in Central Park before flying back home), the always-going-on sales everywhere, Chelsea Market with its amazing fish store and other great finds. The discovery and new trend in the Big Apple is yogurt store Chobani in Soho. Their slogan is go real. You can add all kinds of good stuff on your Greek yoghurt. The place was packed, the yoghurt comes in a beautiful glass bowl that you can keep and yes it is delicious. I guess Mike mostly enjoyed professional photo store B&H.

It felt so good to spend some time in NYC. Cant’ wait to go back.
